Frequently Asked Questions

We are a busy working farm that's proud to sell our produce direct to our lovely customers.  We have carefully considered how we balance both growing flowers and flower sales. For more details on what we can and can't offer, read on...

Do You Deliver?

We deliver subscription flowers to a TR13 postcode.  Click and Collect orders must be collected from the farm which is located just a mile from Helston.  We do occasionally deliver wedding flowers that are local to the farm, but there is a fee for this which will be discussed with our wedding customers.

What days do you offer Click & Collect?

Flowers can be collected on Fridays and Saturdays from The Flower Hut at the flower field gate.  Orders for same week collection must be placed by 5pm on Wednesday evening to allow us enough time to cut, condition and wrap your flowers.

I want to order flowers as a gift, how do I do this?

Our flowers make a lovely gift. However, we're a busy working farm and not a floristry shop, so orders would still need to be placed using our online subscription or Click and Collect service.  For Click and Collect, either the gift giver or the gift recipient will need to collect the flowers on Friday or Saturday, and for subscription flowers the recipient would need to live in a TR13 postcode and able to receive flower deliveries via a safe place on Fridays. We are able to include a hand-written message with your gift bouquet if required.

Which days can wedding flowers be collected?

We can offer wedding flower collection on Tuesday -Saturday 10am-4pm.

I want bunches of specific types of flowers.  Can you do this?

Unfortunately not. We always cut a mix of the very best flowers available.  We can't guarantee any specific flowers as they're in natures hands and we'd hate to let you down.  We do occasionally have single varieties of flowers (such as dahlia or tulips) available via Click and Collect. These will only be on offer for a few weeks of the year so stay tuned to our social media pages for details.

Can you cut to my preferred colour choice?

For weddings, yes, absolutely.  Although we only grow whites, pastels, blues, coffee and wine colours.  For our seasonal bunches, we cut the best of the field which could be any colour.

Do you offer funeral flowers?

Many customers buy our flowers to send off loved ones.  We don't offer a specific funeral flower package, however, our mixed flower buckets available in our Click and Collect shop, are a popular choice for those wishing to decorate a ceremony or life celebration space.  If you need to collect flowers for a funeral on a day different to our usual collection days, email us at info@mellangoosefarmflowers.co.uk and we'll try to accommodate you.
